Kasonno's Flat Bottom Boogie

In its 15th year, Natate's 2022 Flat Bottom Boogie began as a Boat Show at Club Royal Oak a magnificent Riverfront RV Resort on the Kings River located just outside Kingsburg, CA, 3 miles east of Hwy 99 off Exit 112. Its Riverfront Sites became a fantastic viewing opportunity when, in 2012, Tulare County began allowing Time Trials to be run directly in front of the Resort. The event is now Inter- Nationally recognized and attracts some of the most famous boats from the sport's hey day in the 70's & 80's and the Top Drivers and Boats from today. Next year, the event is once again being covered by Speedboat Magazine, will be Live Streamed online, be covered by KMPH Fox 26, and have reserved seating for Prime Ticket holders. Awards will be presented at 6:00 p.m. to winners in 7 categories including Best of Show & Best Time in the 1/8th mile sprint.

Ticket holders will have to walk a short distance to the Security Checkpoint to enter the venue. No outside food or drink will be allowed in the venue. The gates will open at 9:00 a.m. Visitors can view the many boats already on display, purchase food and drink from our vendors, buy Shirts and hats, meet some of the Drivers and even talk with them about their Magnificent Beasts! The Time Trials begin at 11:30 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. They will be preceded by the singing of our National Anthem while Old Glory is paraded in front of the crowd on board a Flat Bottom Boat. Watch for Fly By's by the U.S. Navy from the Lemoore Air Station that have been known to occur! Always remain vigilant staying behind the safety line and "Keep your eyes on the Boogie Boat"! The Boat Show runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The day is capped off with a performance by Jeremy "Elvis" Pearce, one of the Top 10 of his craft in the world along with his band "The Memphis Son's from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
